In the constant pursuit of enhancing team collaboration and recognition, Karma for Teams presents its latest product update for September. Packed with exciting features, this update marks a significant milestone in improving the user experience and providing greater flexibility for customization. Let’s explore the key changes and additions that make Karma even more valuable for your team.

Revamped Role System

The September update introduces an improved roles system within Karma Bot. The roles spreadsheet displays all user information, roles, and permissions upfront, providing a comprehensive overview. With only two main roles now—User and Administrator—the new system offers greater simplicity and ease of use. Administrators have full permissions for settings, billing, and management. Users, by default, have the ability to receive Karma coins. However, the User role can be modified with custom permissions, granting access to specific features. For instance, users can be given access to manage rewards without altering any other settings. Additionally, a “Disabled” role is available for team members who are not part of the Karma app, restricting their ability to give or receive Karma coins.

Enhanced Karma Limits

Karma now offers configurable limits on the number of Karma coins per request to provide better control over the recognition process. Administrators can set the maximum number of Karma coins for administrators and users, ensuring fair and manageable recognition within the team. Furthermore, the Role settings provide an option to assign unlimited Karma coins to specific users, giving unique recognition capabilities to outstanding contributors.

Automated Rewards Across Multiple Countries

Expanding geographical reach and customization options, the Karma for Teams September update introduces support for automated gift cards in different countries. No longer is there a need to manually mention the country on the gift card description, as the system automatically displays the country flag in the upper left corner, offering a seamless experience for recipients across borders. Now, team members from various countries can receive personalized rewards that align with their preferences.

Branding Flexibility with Renaming

In a move to enhance project branding flexibility, the Karma Bot team has renamed the “Karma Feed” feature to simply “Feed.” This update allows users to align the platform more closely with their specific brand or team requirements. By removing or renaming the term “Karma” wherever possible, Karma Bot offers users more outstanding customization options, fostering a stronger sense of ownership and integration within their unique team environment.

Upcoming Update: Customizable Coin Names

Karma’s upcoming update will introduce the ability to change the default coin name to expand branding capabilities. While “Karma” has served as the standard, this functionality will allow companies and teams to match the coin’s name to their brand, creating a more personalized recognition experience.

Conclusion

With the September updates, Karma for Teams continues to empower teams with enhanced recognition and rewards capabilities. The revamped roles and permissions, configurable Karma limits, automated rewards across countries, and branding flexibility all contribute to a more tailored and engaging user experience. As Karma remains committed to continuous improvement, the upcoming customizable coin name feature will further foster a sense of ownership and cohesion within teams. Karma reaffirms its dedication to team recognition and cohesive work cultures through these updates.
